Analysis of the Application of Figure-ground Theory over the Ten Years

Based on the data obtained from CNKI website,this paper analyzes the general application situation of the figure-ground theory in the fields of syntactic analysis,translation research and textual interpretation as well as the practice background,aiming to have a relatively complete understanding of its development situation which might be of guidance for future research work.
