The correlation research of elastography in the diagnosis of thyroid nodules with pathology of needle biopsy by ultrasonic guidance

Objective To study the correlation of elastography in the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules with pathology of needle biopsy by ultrasonic guidance.Methods 58 thyroid nodules of 41 patients in our hospital were examined by the real-time elastography respectively,and simultaneously by percutaneous biopsy of thyroid nodules by ultrasonic guidance.Pathological results of thyroid nodules were compared with contrast analysis.Results 43 benign thyroid nodules and 15 malignant thyroid nodules were founded with using needle biopsy by ultrasonic guidance.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of the elastography in the diagnosis of thyroid nodules were 93.33%,88.37%,89.66%.Conclusion There is higher clinical value with ultrasound elastography diagnosing thyroid nodules,while combines with needle biopsy by ultrasonic guidance simultaneously.It provides accurate,safe,comprehensive and convenient methods for diagnosis thyroid disease,and it provides sufficient theory basis for the correct instruction treatment.
