Flow-based Detection of LDDoS

Low-rate distributed denial-of-service attack is a pulse distributed denial-of-service attack,which exploits the deficiencies of the minimum Retransmission Time Out (RTO) of TCP to attack the server. This paper presents a signal processing technique——flow-based detection method. It mainly uses PCA algorithm and its viability is proved by theory and experiment.
