The Construction of Instrument Sharing Platform Based on GIS

with the development of computer technology,network technology and GIS technology it is possible to enhance the utilization of large-scale equipment and to establish the appropriate management platform. To establish a shared platform for efficient management of related equipment resources becomes an urgent need for many units. This paper discussed the construction and application of the equipment sharing platform based on GIS. GIS provides a method of managing,querying and positioning equipment,it can solve displaying,positioning and statistics of large-scale instruments in the equipment sharing platform to achieve effective management of large-scale instruments by adding location information of equipment. Using the network management platform based on GIS in the large-scale instrument management,the opening and sharing of the large-scale instrument were gained through the reform and innovation of management system.
