The Extraction of Circular Markers Based on OpenCV

This study proposes a circular markers extraction method based on OpenCV.After image smoothing,edge detection,contour finding geometric constraints and ellipse fitting,the circular markers are extracted,and the center coordinates are computed.This method is mainly used in multi-view point clouds registration and other round object recognition occasions.Experiments results prove that this method is fast and efficient to extract circular markers.
