A pipelined implementation method of AES encryption for GPON

In the system of GPON, AES encryption is the key to the security of downstream transmission of information. This paper briefly introduces the algorithm of AES encryption and the encryption method used in GPON. To the problem of traditional implementation method of AES encryption used in the GPON, an 5-stage pipelined circuit structure of AES encryption for GPON application is presented and implemented by description language. According to simulation and synthesis results, this method is feasible and effective used in GPON system.
