Forward and Backward Diffusion Processes for SAR Image Enhancement

SAR image denoising and enhancement in image domain is considered.The diffusion coefficient matrix is designed according to SAR image features,and the forward and backward diffusion technique is put forward for SAR image.Then a fast algorithm is given.This technique can effectively suppress the noise and protect the object simultaneously.The result is evaluated by both the 3dB mainlobe width and the radiation resolution.Experimental result demonstrates the effectiveness of the algorithm.
