Taxonomy for Requirement Process Assessment

Reasonable requirement classification is significant for requirements acquisition and assessment of the effectiveness and stability of requirement process. This paper presents a new taxonomy of requirement based on a concept of requirement hierarchy. This taxonomy classifies and evaluates requirements by four kinds of attributes. The paper also demonstrates how to analyze the effectiveness and stability of requirement process by this methodology.
