Design and Implementation of Error Code Generator for Digital Channel

A scheme of implementing Gaussian-distribution error code generator for digital communication channel is provided,which first utilizes linear congruential algorithm to construct uniform distribution,then generates Gaussian number by Box-Muller transform.Simulations show the method has high accuracy and low complexity.Moreover,a FPGA model is developed to evaluate the scheme,the diagram and test results are provided,which confirm the method is practical for simulating the communication channel.
