Failure Analysis of a Newly Installed 220 kV Current Transformer during Energizing

This paper introduced the fault condition and inspection and treating process of a newly installed 220 kV current transformer during enerigizing.The failure analysis considered that there may be a short circuit at primary side,caused by installation,and its secondary winding without output current.For the problems in similar equipment,the anti-accident measures were proposed.
