A method for encrypted voice transmission on GSM voice channel

The secure situation of mobile communication networks raises the researches on mobile voice security.Voice encryption is an effective method to encrypt human voice and realize the end-to-end secure voice communication,but the encrypted speech can't be directly transmitted on GSM voice channel.Hence,a method for encrypted voice transmission on GSM voice channel was proposed.Aiming at GSM full rate vocoder,a speech-like modem using linear predictive technology was designed,and it can transform encrypted speech data into speech-like signal waveform credibly.This method solves the problem making encrypted data input into mobile network and overcomes the disadvantageous effects brought by GSM transcoding mechanism and voice activity detector(VAD) module,which provides a possibility for the encrypted voice transmission on GSM voice channel.
