Non-volatile and large-capability storage schemes based on C8051F340

During the working process of marine instruments,data storage module is a necessary part in the post-processing data analysis.Aiming at the need of marine instruments for non-volatile and mass storage,this paper introduced three kinds of mass-storage schemes and their implementations based on practical working experience.In these schemes,C8051F340 was selected as the main controller and was taken full advantage of its rich resource of hardware interfaces.The integrated I2C,SPI and I/O interfaces were used in extending mass storage modules.Compared to the conventional memory circuit,the system design eliminated the decoding and latch circuits,and simplified the software programming.The practical applica-tion shows the these mass-storage schemes have the advantage of stability,low power consumption,they are very suitable for applications that require mass storage and long duration.
