Constructing and Performance Analysis of Beowulf Cluster System Based on MPI

The Beowulf cluster system is a collection of personal computers interconnected by widely available networking technology running any one of several operating systems as Linux or Windows.The construction of the heterogeneous Beowulf cluster system under Windows XP is researched.With the parallel example of PI this Beowulf system is tested,and the results are compared with Sun high-performance servers.Results show that the Beowulf cluster system could run high parallel computing efficiency and parallel speedup,and get a better effect.
