Application of RFID Technology to Instrument Management System in Universities

The application of RFID technology to instrument management was addressed.By building a testing platform in a department laboratory,each instrument uses an RFID label which has an EEPROM to memory the instrument information including its ID,price,type and so on.At the same time,each door of the laboratory uses an RFID reader to read the information of the pass instrument.The whole system also has a control PC and network.By using this testing platform,all instruments information can be monitored in real time.
