Research on Positioning Method under GPS Incomplete Constellation

In order to augment the performance of GPS receiver positioning calculation aided by clock bias prediction model,a new model for predicting receiver clock bias based on grey theory is presented in this paper.The basic ideas and steps of the forecasting model are discussed respectively.And then this model is introduced to aid the GPS receiver to calculate its position under the incomplete constellation.The validation and analysis based on the real GPS data show that this model not only has better predictive power for the series of receiver clock bias,but also improves the continuity and reliability of receiver positioning calculation.Under the condition of only three GPS satellites,this augmented positioning method can implement 3-D position.Meanwhile,this method does not need extra equipments,and it's much more convenient,feasible and effective.
