A Mixed Step by Step Combination Algorithm for Highly Conflict Evidence

In spite of step by step combination method is widely used by researchers,the rationality of this method in theory is not appeared in the literature review.This paper presents a general math expressions of step by step combination results,and studies the theoretical rationality of step by step combination method.The convergence of the combination results,the relationship between final combination results and the row order is studied.Several theorems and deductions are presented and proved using mathematical methods.The step by step combination algorithm mixing evidence combination formula and the weighted average method is proposed for combination of highly conflict evidence.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has simpler calculation process and better convergence effectiveness than representative alternative rules.
