In this paper,the concept and characteristics of MF-SoSs are introduced firstly,and it focuses on the development of description and construction of MF-SoSs,inner properties,confrontation ability,effectiveness assessment and evaluation parameters.Finally,the open questions and development trend are summarized and discussed.
