An improved ASD model of the ALM with delay impact factor

Cui Jian-qu · Computer Engineering and Science · 2015

In order to improve the stability and efficiency of Application Layer Multicast(ALM),based on the old timestamp-based adaptive ALM overlay model with overlay structure detection,a new delay impact factor based ASD model, named ASD-DIF,is proposed. After a new node detects the whole net, this model can choose a way to add the node into the net so that the new node brings the least time cost and a high efficient and distributed multicast tree is constructed.Simulation experiments show that the ASD-DIF model can build the multicast net with high efficient transmission paths and reduce the delay of the multicast tree efficiently.
