Wireless Mesh networks will play an important role in next-generation wireless communication systems because they have wide coverage and low-power consumption. At the same time, the volume of traffic has grown, making routing technology of critical importance.Unfortunately, how to determine the optimal routing system remains an open problem. In order to improve survivability, reliability and usability for user's wireless channels,a multi-path routing algorithm was developed that uses link-independence technology and the characteristics of wireless mesh networks. The proposed algorithm gets as much information as possible about the state of the network by using least message exchanging operations and keeps loads better balanced within the whole network.Besides higher transmission reliability, the proposed approach can also result in lower latency, higher packet delivery fractions and less overhead for the maintenance requirements of large scale network environments. These benefits were validated through simulations.
