This paper proposed a virtual global database system(VGDB),which was organized from unreliable underlying P2P network nodes, and provided persistent data storage, and flexible, efficient and secure global data access for them.Analyzing its performance and verify its core components in a simulated P2P network with 10 000 nodes, the results show, for global data,VGDB can provide considerable storage capacity while achieves high stability.Experiments confirm that VGDB achieves high performance and flexibility for responding various commands under different loads.
