New Development in World University Web Rankings

The second edition of International Workshop on University Rankings took place at the Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales (CCHS) on the 21st of April 2009 at Madrid.This paper introduces the meeting briefly,analyzes the characteristics of the web rankings,and proposes ways and measures of further improving the rankings of universities and colleges in China.
