An Adaptive Architecture for Intrusion-tolerant Databases on Role-based Access Control
Yong Zuo · 2007
For intrusion-tolerant database systems, it’s crucial for them to dynamically change their behavior and continue delivering essential services under malicious attacks. Thus, combined with role-based access control, we propose an adaptive architecture to intrusion-tolerant databases for the first time in the literature. For systems intruded by malicious users, different adaptive intrusion-tolerant policies are taken in terms of users’ different roles, historical logs of intrusion, different system states etc. Therefore, while keeping delivering essential services, we can enhance the system’s intrusion-tolerant ability.
