An Evaluation Technique Based on Grey Theory for AEW Radar Effectiveness

This paper describes a model of effectiveness evaluation based on grey system theory in the background of airborne early warning radar.A multi-level effectiveness evaluation criterion system structure is established by analytical hierarchy process(AHP),and its criterion weight is worked out.The evaluation criterion value matrix is given by expert grading.The evaluation algebra it values of four important airborne early warning radars are computed,and it shows that the method is feasible for evaluating AEW Radar system.This conclusion can proof to be of some use for references to develop airborne early warning radar.
