Development of Temperature Monitoring System Based on VC++ 6.0 and Database

A serial communication software based on API functions and Access 2000 database is developed for temperature monitoring system.Real-time data collection and dynamic image display are accomplished using API functions and multiply threads with VC++、 SQL(structured query language) and ODBC database access technology are adopted by database module of the system.The data collected from the spot are stored in Access 2000.The technology adopted by the system has the advantage of high memory speed,occupying very little space and can deal with data efficiently.The software has already been used in monitoring the temperature of a warehouse,and a good monitoring result has been achieved,which indicates that the software can deal with and store data from the spot effectively.
