Cooperative diversity in single carrier frequency domain equalization

To overcome the influence of multi-path fading in single carrier frequency domain equalization,this paper proposed Equalization and Forward method.In this method the partner equalizes the receiving signal in frequency domain and forward to destination.In addition,the Equalization and Forward and Decoded and Forward methods are combined to improve the performance,and the impact on cooperative performance of partners' channel state information is analyzed.The simulation results show that the cooperative diversity can reduce error probability,and the combining method can provide larger diversity gain than single method.Partners' channel state information determines the diversity gain,so various parameters should be considered to obtain best performance.
