SDE Based Integration of Spatial-data and Attribute-data in the RDBMS

Like other Information System, database plays a significant role in the GIS. But because of some features of the spatial data which is difficult to be represented with the Relationship model, there are some problems in applying RDBMS directly to the GIS. This paper mainly introduces the geometry storage schema used by SDE (Spatial Data Engine), and how to realize the integration of spatial data and attribute data in the RDBMS.
