Study on tensile property of fiberglass geogrid

The tensile breaking strength and tensile breaking elongation of fiberglass geogrid are obtained through tensile tests under various temperatures and after various aging times.The test result shows that the breaking strength of fiberglass geogrid increases along with the increase of temperature,however,it mutates at 10 ℃.Nevertheless,the breaking elongation of fiberglass geogrid decreases along with the increase of the aging time and tends towards a certain value after a certain aging time.Moreover,the ultimate elongation of fiberglass geogrid is relatively lower with a poor capability to adapt deformation,especially under a low temperature.
