Genetic Algorithms is an adaptive global searching algorithm with heuristic method.It has been used in many fields.This paper introduces a principle of genetic algorithms,as well as the advantage,discuss the use in the fault diagnosis field,at last this paper forecast the advance of GA in the fault diagnosis field.
