The network management of wireless sensor network(WSN) is a new research field, and the study at present tightly relate to specific application or function.Only a few common framework can be found, and this paper gives a summa-ry.Subsequently,this paper analyzes the contents of WSN network management deeply. It should include function areas de-fined by ISO,and extend that to support energy management, program management and routing management. Finally,a com-mon framework is introduced which includes the design of node agent and the network functions.Furtheri,t is a good base for a network management systems’ construction.
