Mapping from XML Schema to Relational Normal Form

Although the new database techniques such as object database, XML database have been developed by leaps and bounds, these new techniques at present stage are still quite immature. This paper introduces the procedure of mapping a XML DTD to a relation normal form. This mapping must capture the semantic constraints hidden in the given XML DTD.
