Applied Analysis on the Fixed Terrestrial Laser Scanner used in Earthwork Survey

Firstly,this paper introduces the principle of the fixed terrestrial laser scanning technology,carry out earthwork surveying in experiment district using RIEGL VZ-1000,and takes statistic analysis on the surveying data.And then this paper discusses the feasibility,technology advantages,surveying and data processing methods of the fixed terrestrial laser scanning technology used in the earthwork surveying,and get the quantificational analysis results by comparing with the common-used method.
