Design and Implementation of Topic News Information Portal System

This paper introduces a topic news information portal system for personlization service, which combines topic tracking and information portal technology. It can monitor and crawl Web news sources, and do topic tracking according to different topic strategies customized by users. This paper proposes its architecture, specifies its major functions and key technologies, and gives the evaluations and results.
