Hybrid optimization algorithm based on improved simplex search and differential evolution

Differential Evolution(DE) algorithm is a rapid,robust and effective global optimization algorithm,which has been successfully applied in various fields.Based on the DE and Nelder-Mead(NM) simplex search method,a hybrid DE-NM algorithm is proposed.This algorithm maintains the diversity of the populations,meanwhile accelerates the convergence by taking advantage of the ability of DE global search and NM local search.Comparison results with several existing optimization algorithms show that the new hybrid algorithm is more efficient.
