Calculation and evaluation of ligtning withstand level of 110kV overhead transmission line with poles of given structure using gapped MOA is presented.The lightning withstand level of transmission line with and without arrestor are analyzed for cased of lightning strick onto line conductor and line pole,such as the model of lightning current, grounding resistance, maximum withstand surge and the energe absorb capability of arrestor.
