Study of the New Ground Faulty Neutralizer Using Power Switch(IGBT)

A new Ground Faulty Neutralizer using power switch(IGBT) is proposed in this paper,which can compensate the current of ground faulty quickly because of using the PWM method.The new Ground Faulty Neutralizer can overcome the disadvantages Peterson Coil may bring to power system.The related simulation was performed using the software of PSCAD/EMTDC~(TM)and MATLAB~(TM),the result can show that this method can compensate the current of ground faulty effectively.
