Fuzzy track association using tracklet-based Hough transform

A fuzzy track association method using tracklet-based Hough transform( THT-FTA) is proposed to solve track association problems of multiple local nodes. The proposed method defines two local state estimates from the same target in two successive times as a tracklet in the fusion center. All tracklets in the same time interval are mapped into a set of points in parameter space by the use of Hough transform,and the association between tracklets and system tracks is realized by the maximum entropy clustering method. The experimental results illustrate that the proposed method is able to realize tracklet-to-system track association,reduce the average update time of system tracks and satisfy the real-time processing requirement. It achieves higher association processing rate than the traditional method.
