Identification between Nibbled Document and Fabricated Nibbled Document

Fabricated nibbled document is one of the fabricating methods which forges a present document to a historical document.In this paper,samples of nibbled document were studied,and characteristics of nibbled document were summarized from many aspects,such as hole,paper's ageing and script pigment,etc.Nibbled holes were fabricated by the methods of hand tearing,knife carving,fire burning,needle pricking and scissors cutting,the nibbled documents having nibbled holes were aged by irradiation and heating.Fabricating characteristics of nibbled document were summarized.On the basis of these,characteristics were carefully compared between nibbled document and fabricated nibbled document.At last,the main points of questioned nibbled document examination were put forward.
