A Fast Computation Method for the Initial Filter in Multiwavelets Vector Prefilter Design

A fast computation method for the initial filter Q(0) based on null space is proposed for solving the complicated computation process of Q(0) in the design of multiwavelets vector prefilter.The proposed method can compute Q(0) accurately and quickly by only giving multiwavelets scaling and wavelet filters coefficients.The Q(0) corresponding GHM and CL multiwavelets can be computed by the proposed method.The results the same as conventional method,thus proving correctness of the algorithm.The overall process costs less than 0.03 seconds and it can be done automatically,thus avoidiing the artificial error in the deduction and computation.
