A Multi-level Enhancement Algorithm for Images Based on Fuzzy Logic

Based on the analysis of traditional single-level fuzzy enhancement algorithm,Pal algorithm a multi-level fuzzy enhancement algorithm is proposed.By introdusing the fuzzy entropy,the selection of the threshold value in different levels is beneficial to a certain extent.The proposed algorithm could enhance image edges of different levels simplify the complex transformation calculation,and a new enhancement operator is adopted.The proposed algorithm is used to extract image edges,and a better result is obtained comparing with the traditional single-level fuzzy enhancement algorithm.
