Development of ebXML and SOA-Based Business Collaboration Platform

With the progress of information technology, the digital environment becomes the indispensable part of people's daily activities, and the electronic tools play a crucial role in the enterprise business. The key elements such as market transparence emerging with global competition and internet markets lead the paradigm shift from the solutions regarding such as BPR and ERP, which are centric to internal business functions, to integrated solutions such as SCM and Collaborative Business. Although collaborative business tools expand the business opportunity and enhance the connection among the cooperative partners, so far they lacks of adequate common standard and effective service platform. Since recently, the domestic and international industries have noticed the web-based business interchange architecture, especially the ebXML and SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture). Both their objectives will aim the development of the information architecture for collaborative business to establish an interoperable environment for collaborative works by utilizing technology-neutral methods and specifications. This paper presented the issues which collaborative e-Business encounters, and then derived an interoperable business collaboration architect corresponding with ebXML framework.
