Visualization Tool for Evaluating Performance of MPI-based Parallel Platform

This paper presents a visualization tool for evaluating performance of MPI-based parallel platform. This tool collects the utilization information of hardware resource when a program runs, and can be visualized by postmortem or real-time views. From these views programmers can monitor the performance, find out the performance bottleneck, and improve the performance.
