A Fast MUSIC Algorithm Based on Sequential Searching
Xu Xin · Modern Radar · 2008
MUSIC is a classic DOA estimation algorithm for array signal processing. For high SNR,MUSIC algorithm has excellent high resolution performance, but with the SNR decreased the performance becomes seriously poor, especially in terms of the probability of resolution. The main reason is that the spatial correlation among sources increases with the cowering SNR and closeld spaced sources. In this paper,a fast MUSIC algorithm is presented, which is a new algorithm based on sequential searching and searching vector updating, multistage Wiener filter is used to decrease the computation complexity. The probability of resolution is improved. The new method can be applied to a lot of subspace methods.Simulation results demonstrated the effectiveness of the method.
