Semantic Modeling Method of IDEF1x and It's Application in Database Designing

IDEF1x is a modeling method of database which imports semantic in the E-R method, expand it and make it standard. It is easy to transform into physic database. This paper has introduced the conceptions, the characteristics of semantic modeling method of IDEF1x ,the step of modeling and the relationships of IDEF1x by instance of modeling. The advantages of IDEF1x have been put forward in comparing with E-R model.
