Design and realization of water resources information management and analysis system based on oracle 10g and MapX

Water resources information plays a vital role in the basin planning and management,and it is the premise of promoting the standardization and informatization of water business.Based on spatial database Oracle 10g and component technology with MapX,water resources management and analysis system has been designed and explored,moreover,the original system was applied in Songliao basin.The results indicated that the system is convenient,high-efficient and user-friendly,and it would be of great significance for integrating water resources planning and promoting the informatization level of water resources management.
