Research on Various Size Block Motion Estimation Algorithm Based on H.264

Researchs on the problem of high computational complexity based motion estimation and variable size block motion estimation in H.264 video coding standard, analyses traditional hexagon search algorithm and improvement, the stationary block prediction and motion vector partition combines with each other. Proposes a feasible various size block matching motion estimation algorithm based on H.264 standard. By having set up many threshold value reduce the computational complexity of various size block matching motion estimation, the algorithm has practical value in real time video system.
