Research on line extraction algorithm in architecture images

To extract line segment from images is an important task in understanding and analyzing architecture images.Among the existing algorithms,Hough transform algorithm and the algorithm based on connectivity are the most representative.Based on analyzing the characteristics of the image,the paper presents an improved line extraction algorithm,which combines the advantages of the two algorithms and provides the strong support for designing and developing the system.
