Application of PLC in the Control of Sprinkler Irrigation

This article presents the design of the automatic sprinkler irrigation control system based on PLC.The system inputs the signal of soil moisture which is measured by humidity sensor to PLC through inner program,and compares it with the value of optimum moisture,then further controls the open and close of the electrical motor of the water pump and the solenoid valve,and finally realizes the automatic control of the sprinkler irrigation.This system has such features as low cost,simple maintenance and operation,so it is easy to be used in the medium or small irrigation system of the vast countrysides.
