Measuring harness contact resistance by a close-loop controlled constant current power supply

The harness contact resistance is extremely small and it is variable with the current passing through it. A new measuring method is discussed in accordance with the characteristic of contact resistance in the thesis. The micro resistance is measured by a close-loop controlled constant current power supply. The method has the advantages of high precision and automatic testing. The total precision achieved of the system is 0.5 percent.
