Analysis of CRC Encoding and Performance of Error Detection

Sending timely and reliable information to each other is the purpose of the communication.So the messages sent by a communication system must be reliable and timely.A communication system adopts error control to solve the unreliability.Error control coding is commonly used as a data transmission process to improve the reliability of data communication,while the CRC is an error control coding which is used extensively in actual fact,and have a strong capability to detect the error.This paper describes the theory and feature of Cyclic Redundancy Check,and gives the analysis of the checking performance of this algorithm using simulation analysis with C language.
