Research Review on Application of Internet of Things Technology in Environmental Protection Industry

The internet of things is called the third wave after the computer and the internet in the world information industry. The internet of things technology application in the environmental protection industry is mainly based on the application of wireless sensor network in the water and atmospheric environment monitoring. Many relevant data are collected through placing numerous sensors in the monitoring region, and are transmitted to the router through the Zigbee wireless network. After the data are analyzed, processed and sent to the remote monitoring center. The water and atmosphere of real-time online monitoring are achieved, which makes up the inadequacy of traditional manual monitoring. Therefore, the application of the Internet of things technology in the field of environmental protection has become one of the key directions in the work of environmental protection in recent years. The paper reviewes on application of internet of things technology in environmental protection industry to clarify the main development direction of network application period of the current and future period of environmental protection material.
